Of course, I shall never know what meaning she took to "different worlds", but I'll try my best to give a rough answer, but in 2 different contexts to reflect the ambiguity of the phrase. If you take "different worlds" to mean one person living in a universe created by God in 6 days, another living in a universe created by Allah, or another living in a massive vacuum fluctucation, then I would say no. You can't physically live in the same Universe with it being a different one at the same time. Not even quantum theory goes that weird. But if "world" means all the thing stated by others, such as culture, then I would say yes.
The answer I am searching for lies somewhere in between these two views of the world, and it is a tough one to figure out.
