I am sure you must realize this and were at least somewhat facetious in your blanket condemnation of businessmen and bank managers. There are more than just a few successful businessmen and managers who have used the money they have acquired to help others less well endowed than themselves and to pursue honorable interests other than business, including intellectual activities such as advancing their own and mankind's knowledge of science and how the universe works. We could always use more of that type, though--there is certainly not a surplus of them.
