You: Please don't get too discouraged by these pompous, self-righteous fools, Vicki! Everyone knows they're little better than vermin with nothing of any value to contribute here, so please don't let their infestation of our home drive you out.

Me: I know what they are, Martin, it's the time invested in dealing with them that was on my mind last night.

You: While our hopes about Johny are unfortunately not even being partially fulfilled, and although Weasel and Brian T are but painful, itchy hemorrhoids in the noisome rectum of the world, don't lose heart! Put some Preparation H atop your rubber gloves before touching your keyboard, and perhaps someday soon we'll be rid of them.

Me: So, it's a science issue? ;-) Seriously, Martin, I think I need to leave the troll abatement to you and others. I'm bloody sick and tired of it. Small rant...I had started this lengthy post that I'd mentioned to you before and then got sucked into this trollish nightmare. I made a poor choice. I spent far too much time on these guys and now I doubt my post will ever see the light of cyber day here for as you well know I sandwich my participation here in between a mountain of committments and it gripes me to think I spent so much time on them. I need to be more selective in what I allow myself to get involved in here.

You: Besides, you're one of the bravest and strongest people I know!

Me: Thank you, Martin.

You: I figure that what's happened is that the bile once again rose high in your throat for a moment, but that, too, shall pass!

Me: Now, he gets it...geez. It is just a matter of pitched emotions or sheer disgust. When I get it out of me, it's out. I mean what I say when I say it, my feelings change, that's all. Sometimes it's just better to ignore me until I recalibrate. I always recalibrate.
