[W]ith your super brain,maybe you could come up with a reason why so many teachers, even Univeristy teachers, seem to recall it being taught in schools in England,and overseas? The reason why is because it was taught (and probably still is). It has always been wrong. Add-on: I see now how easy it is to misread my pronouns here, especially if you haven't read my earlier posts on the same topic elsewhere.
