I first must appologize for leading you all on.  Let me explain a bit about myself so that you can better understand where I am coming from.   First off, I am a traveler as well as a seeker!  (I would have had that as my name, but my father has already occupied it.)  Right now I am living in Guatemala searching among the acient people to find truth here.  I must admit, the hands-on experience is far more productive than chatting on forums such as these.  Because of my situation, I am living rather poorly and am not able to pay the fund to be on the internet everyday.  I have limited my time to just a few hours a week.  I am sorry that I have not replied to anything for this reason.

Secondly, I never once declared to what religion I belonged or what my beliefs were.  By simply defending one religion, you all assumed that I belonged there.  Well, you know what they say about assuming....it makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me."  Because of the manner in which you all responded to my post, I have no intentions of declaring what my current beleifs are!  Do not use that to assume that I do not have beliefs or that I do not stand up for them!  But I will say this much, I will respect and stand up for any man who tells me he truely believes what he believes.....even if it is 100% contradictory to mine own!  (And I am inlcluded among those I will stand up for!)

Thirdly, I do not base my beliefs on the concepts of man.  I thought I made that clear in my post, but I was obviously not blunt enough.  Again, I appologize.  All that I know and believe come from one simple thing, backed by another....that is, I pray, and I ask, and I form all my beliefs off the answers I get.  It workes great!  (that is the first thing) which is backed by this: living those principles which I find to be true and then further learning the truth of them when they work!  Ex: If I pray to find out if I should pay tithing, then get an answer that I should, then I do it.....when I find that I am blessed with everything I need, then I know it works and I know it is true!  A worldy example would be a multiplication table....it works!  Again, this is the simple idea of "knowing them by their works!"

Okay, I think that clears it up.  I am sorry that I had to put a new post, but I feared that no one would bother to see if I posted under my last one.  Do not think that I am come to attack.  I am but here to defend!

I am but here to defend!  -The Seeker-

Shouldn't you be called defender then? Seekers open their minds and listen; they don't dig in and defend.

Logically, you´re right....but let me respond with this:  If a treasure hunter found some, would he defend it?

...he'd change his name to defender. He'd no longer be a treasure hunter if he didn't hunt anymore.

Be careful that you haven't got fool's gold in that treasure chest of yours...

One more simple question....(I wish you would think about this before you reply)....Does that hunter stop his hunt after finding but one treasure?

Are you hunting for an additional religion? Or are you just hunting for converts? If the latter then perhaps -Convert Seeker- would be a better name.

After answering yes to questions like "Do you sustain the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the Prophet, Seer, and Revelator and as the only person on the earth who possesses and is authorized to exercise all priesthood keys? Do you sustain members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators? Do you sustain the other General Authorities and local authorities of the Church? Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?" haven't you pretty much stopped your hunt and begun defending what you think is gold?

You really should be more careful what you say! I think you need to refer back to my original post where I stated that I have not claimed a religion! Or did you forget that? You are not thinking about what I am saying, you are but jumping to conclusions and trying to find fault in me! If you continue to do so I will ignore your posts to me, but if you wish to post intelligently, please do so! I am not mocking your intelligence, I am simply asking you to stop playing this game!

I have already stated that I am a searcher (seeker) of truth! Truth can be found anywhere and everywhere for he who is willing to see it! There is truth that even comes from the Father of all Lies! If a treasure hunter were to stop after finding one treasure, then he is not a treasure hunter. I hunt (seek) for what I consider to be the greatest treasure there is....Eternal life! I have not acheived that yet, and until I do, my hunt is not over! Now, you could consider my side-job to be a defender....not only of my own treasure, but of any others´ as well. But first and foremost, I am a seeker. Please remember that! -The Seeker-

I know what treasure you speak of here, but to say it cannot be exploited on the market is wrong.Tell me Alan, what do you mean by that?
