Hi, Tyler! I noticed two curious things in that photo upon cursory inspection:
1) I can't tell if that's just an empty but decorated bowl on the table or if it contains blue "goldfish" (but then again, I'm not very familiar with fish and those may be very common), andAfter staring at it long enough, however, for some reason I got some kind of subliminal urge to eat, or at least the desire to Munch...2) The PowerBook in the photo is hardly at an ideal viewing angle (ok, that's from the hideous geek part of me)

You lack of control with the flash completely ruins it with the shadows coming from the wrong angle... heavy black on the cabinet front & behind the tree on the far wall. A big no-no in architectural photography. The outside view is almost two stops overexposed and really screws up the final image. Pixelization in the ceiling area is lousy. The light reflection off the wood cabinet on the left side screams "amateur photographer" as it is not controlled and ruins what might otherwise be a decent photo.
Just another photo that shows there is a wide gulf between a 'picture taker' and a professional photographer. Get some copies of Architectural Digest before trying your hand at this type of thing again.
