If you took the pangea theory of one contenent, you could easily have one continent on a larger planet. And certainly if gaia's a living planet... Her body would attempt to heal, like any other body. Interesting from a mythical or fantastical viewpoint. Not representative of physical reality, of course. But interesting.

I read somewhere that JS believed that the earth is actually a cleft planet. Then went further to say where 'this other half was/went.'
I found it funny, until I started doing some research. the word 'Geo', or 'Gaia', which stems from the word 'Ki' from Sumerian, means 'Earth'... But further lingustic research indicates that the word is more accuately translated 'Fractured/Cracked Earth'. This doesn't give any real evidence itself... Bare with me...
The Enuma Elish (the Babylonian creation myth) could be a bastardized, anthropomorphized version of what early astronymers might have figure out to have been the history of our solar system...
Current theories, backed by dating methods of science, states that the Earth is about 4 billion years old. But the ocianic crust, especially in the pacific ocean is only 200 million years old. The contenental shift has been steadily closing in on the pacific ocian, and the ring of fire - as if working to close a great gash.
If you took the pangea theory of one contenent, you could easily have one continent on a larger planet. And certainly if gaia's a living planet... Her body would attempt to heal, like any other body.
Just an idea...

I found it funny, until I started doing some research. the word 'Geo', Reply: Actually it is Ge as in geology. Amoung the Titans she was the grandmother of Zeus. Some say that the name Jesus was derived as much or more from this than from His original Hebrew name Yahshua.

Just an idea... Reply: Why not? Did we not all come from and may return to her dust and become fertilizer for her plants. KYMAK agent
